Sunny and warmer on Sunday

There could be a lingering evening shower mainly North and South of the metro area. Things clear out overnight and that sets the stage for a mostly sunny day on Sunday with warmer temperatures. It will remain clear on Sunday night and going into Monday as an area of high pressure will dominate our region's weather for the start of the work week. That bodes well for viewing Monday's Solar Eclipse. Monday evening we cannot rule out a shower. Showers and thunderstorms are likely on Tuesday. Maybe a few scattered shower into Wednesday and some cooler temperatures and drier conditions for Thursday and Friday.
