Part 1 of 2
The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Professor Douglas Allen, an economist at the Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. He has been teaching for 35 years and has written several books and over 100 peer reviewed articles.
In his excellent presentation and personal testimony, he shares his thoughts on the mistakes made during covid, especially the lockdowns. He has deep training in mathematics, data analysis, and cost benefit analysis. Professor Allen has read hundreds of studies on lockdowns. It all started with one particular article he wrote that was critical of lockdowns and went viral online.
He describes the type of models used to predict cost benefit analysis and how they came to the decision. He looks at the policies that were changed, ignored, or perhaps miscalculated and the meaning of infection fatality rate. He explains exogenous behavior assumptions and how that is used for calculations.
Professor Allen talks about the Diamond Princess Cruise and how that was a reliable source of data. He believes there was information that existed early on showing data that put the risk of death at a much lower rate than they originally predicted. This was a standard coronavirus, and they went about it all wrong. There are enough studies available now that prove it.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
