Pedal Demo Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe MKII Part 1: dirty

Part 1: pedal into overdriven amp.

I am doing a demo for this recreation of the Shin-ei/Univox Uni-vibe by Fulltone.

Much favoured by Hendrix and Robin Trower, this is a circuit faithful tribute to the original with 4 matched bulb circuits like the original and you can't get closer really to the original.

It's got a vintage and modern setting giving a change in focus from a warm mid focus to a more wide band sound and the same chorus and vibrato toggle. The former is the sound this effect is known for but the vibrato gets a Magnatone style sound very well. Maybe more regular than the Maggie sound but very very close!

I use a Fender custom shop Stratocaster for the first section and a Les Paul Custom for the second and the amp is a Mesa Boogie King Snake set on the 10 Watt mode and cranked using an SPL Reducer attenuator.

I use a Shure SM57 and Rode NT1-A microphone set half way on the cone and about 6 inches back from the grill. I go into a Presonus Studio68C and Studio One to record. No compression and no plug ins. Just the straight tone!
