This is a handmade Stephen Stern custom shop Gretsch in aged Ice Blue Metallic. Featuring 3, yes 3 Filtertron pickups with quite a confusing control arrangement. It is a semi hollowbody. It may look Les Paul like but it's a different beast entirely.

It has 3 switches and from left to right we have a 3 position tone cut switch and then a selector switches for themiddle pickup which is on in the up and down position and off in the middle. Then on the right is a selector for bridge and neck like a Gibson.
To get middle alone, I select the bridge and middle then turn the bridge volume down.

I bought a Tru-arc Serpentune bridge to replace the Tune-o-matic as the design and functionality of the Bigsby design is never my favourite and I'm freakish about intonation and tuning. A wee visit to Bob at GuitarGuitar for some nut filing and finally I have a Bigsby that actually works and stays in tune!

The guitar sounds fantastic and feels just like an old guitar.

Recorded with a Carr Skylark at max on the high gain switch and using the attenuator.
