Guitar Demo 1967 Fender Jaguar in Lake Placid Blue

This is a 1967 fender Jaguar in a very faded Lake Placid Blue. You can see the original unfaded colour under the pickguard in the gallery and it has heavy checking all over and some paint cracking off the lower section.

Post CBS with F plate, block inlays and binding, the neck is unusual as it is quite Gibson like in its large rounded C shape.

Sold as a 1966, I discovered that the guitar is actually from 1967 when the neck pickup died and I had to repair a cracked solder joint. The pickup is dated '67.

I popped in some new foam under the pickup too as the original looked like a mummified cat's paw.

This might be the best sounding Jaguar I have played to be honest and it has had the Staytrem treatment for reasons of playability. A vintage mute was purchased and foam added and has had some fret work done too in addition to a new nut.
