Two Rock Classic Reverb Signature demo

Despite John Mayer's approving glance in the thumbnail, this demo features a Gibson les Paul and it's true that this amp seems to be associated with Fender Stratocasters with Matt Schofield and Mayer amongst the many users but Joey Landreth a Two Rock too and he uses a Les Paul, so why not.

The guitar is a 60th Anniversary '59 custom shop Murphy.

This is a recent Classic Reverb using TAD 6L6WGC valves. I had to send back 2 amps which were fitted with JJ 5881s and were faulty. These amps aren't cheap either and I got no assistance whatsoever from Two Rock so kudos to Coda Music in the UK for helping me get a working one.
So here's my demo of my new amp. There are so many variations of tone and gain that it's impossible to cover them all. From the lowest gain with deep switch on in 'Blackface gain structure' to overdriven madness with FET gain on and Bypass mode engaged with mid boost and the 'Matt Schofield gain structure' switch in the middle and send high on the reverb, there are a lot of variations and they all sound different!

I love them all but if you want a super clean warm sound with sparkle on the top, the bottom gain structure and deep switch on really move the midrange out the way to give a Fender sound which feels and sounds like a big Twin Reverb to me.

It has a 100 Watt and 50 Watt mode and with the Tone King Ironman II and a great master volume, it is easily a home amp as well as a loud bugger too if needed.

I'm using a Rode NT1-A and an SM57 on the cab and a Presonus Studio 68C interface and no post processing in Studio One.
