Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 demo

A light and portable modern bass head. It's going into two SL112 cabs which are 8 ohm each and connecting them via Speakon cables, I'm getting the full 500 Watts into 4 ohm.

However, for this demo, I'm using the XLR output and have the Pre option pushed in and selected which includes all the EQ settings in the signal.

It's a very powerful amp indeed, so I'm using it at lower volume but it would do gigs with no issue. I can't think of any venue where you would find it wanting actually.

It uses a class D power section and has 2 fans on the left side and the rear and they do turn on and it's not silent. It is fine though and easily drowned out by even home volume playing.
It also has a very handy tuner output at the back you can plug your tuner into.

I try to demonstrate the EQ section with a Jazz bass using both pickups and then use a Rickenbacker as well to give an idea of the sound. The Jazz bass has flat wound strings and the Rickenbacker has round wound.

I'm no bass expert, so forgive the playing! I'm still learning after many years of playing guitar.
