Yamaha Pacifica 112J demo

This guitar was bought by a pal at work for under £100; a bargain!
The nut had fallen off though and I glued it back on with a wee dab of superglue, added Fret Doctor to the fretboard to clean it up and feed the rosewood and polished the frets. The neck was set flat and after the 10-46 strings were added, the relief was spot on.
I also set the intonation and the saddles to reflect the 12" profile of the neck. The pickups were balanced in height as well and the electronics fixed. Someone had rewired the electrics and botched the order of the pickups into the 5 way switch and also popped off the earth connection to the tone pot. So all is good now!

So here we have an entry level electric guitar by an old company based in Japan. This one however is made in Indonesia which is normally a very good thing indeed and this one is no exception.
A great sounding full scale quality guitar for £80 used. Nice!

All that the owner added was the rather flash reflective pickguard to dazzle the fans at his next big gig! :-)

Amplifier is a Mesa Boogie King Snake in a Zilla head cab and an EVM12L in a Zilla Fatboy cab.
