God's Finished Work (2) : Already Completed (2)

God did not rest on the 7th Day because He was tired – He rested because He was finished. Finished with the work of creation. In the New Testament when God invites mankind to enter His Rest, He is talking about receiving the benefits of Christ's work completed at the Cross. Jesus Himself cried out with a loud voice, "It is finished!" before breathing His last. Nothing is left undone on God's part for all men to be saved, healed, prosperous and provided for – except to Receive it by Faith on their part. Thank You, Lord! That is what it means to Enter His Rest . .
