STCF Studio - Project Studio Update #5: Alesis HR-16B

This dirty piece of kit is circa 1988 or thereabouts. It's in need of a cleaning, but who isn't? This video is to give you an idea of what it sounds like. The click clack of the pads is louder than the amp I'm hooked up to, but at least when recording or playing louder, the pads aren't heard. I should have demonstrated more sounds that are in this little thing, but I'm not familiar enough with it. There's not a lot, and the capabilities are limited. However, there was enough to get people through the 80s & early 90s. Several hits (or well-known tunes) of the day were recorded using a unit just like this.
