The Revelation Ready or Not by Bo Wagner
Chapter 1: An Electrifying Opening
Revelation 1:1-8
Revelation 3:11, 22:7, 22:12, 22:20
Genesis 1:1,
The purpose of the book/The penman of the book/The promises of the book/The point of the book
He is the one who gives Grace and Peace, He is the one who is, and was and is to come, He is the one who has seven spirits before his throne, He is the Faithful Witness, He is the first begotten of the dead, He is the Prince of the kings of the earth, He is the one who loved us enough to die for us, He is the one who took slaves and made kings and priests out of them, He is the one who has and deserves glory and dominion forever, He is the one who is coming back and who will be seen by every eye of all history, and he is all A to Z.
Chapter 2: The Emperor's Errors
Revelation 1:9-11
Domitian assumed that John was just like him, thinking only of himself, Domitian assumed that great difficulties would shake John out of what he believed and where he stood, Domitian assumed that he was going to be in union with his gods in the palace and John was going to be forsaken by his God on that barren island, and Domitian assumed that once he got John to that island, his service for Christ was over.
Chapter 3: You only thought you knew him!
Revelation 1:12-20
If you did not know how He feels about the local church, then you only thought you knew him, If you did not know that He is the great High Priest, then you only thought you knew him, If you did not know that He is the Ancient of Day, you only thought you knew him, If you did not know that nothing is hidden from His eyes, then you only thought you knew him, If you did not know that every part of Him is perfectly pure, then you only thought you knew him, If you did not know that His voice can overpower anything in existence, then you only thought you knew him, If you did not know that He holds his men in his hands, then you only thought you knew him, If you did not know that all he needs to do is speak to win, then you thought you knew him, If you did not know that you cannot even handle the sight of Him with your natural eyes, then you only thought you knew him, and If you did not know that Jesus is the One who can make every mystery understandable, then you only thought you knew Him.
