It's an open invitation at the Buffalo Museum of Science to a free viewing party commemorating the "Great North American Solar Eclipse." They will be passing out free viewing glasses while supplies last and according to President and CEO of the Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences Marisa Wigglesworth "we'll have some music, some food trucks and we'll have volunteers and staff out sharing information about what you're seeing. The US Post Office will get in on the fun too. They'll be on hand selling the official eclipse stamps. The stamps will change before your eyes with a little body heat. Spokesperson for WNY Postal Service Karen Mazurkiewicz adds "we'll also have a special pictorial post mark, that's something you put on the stamp and that makes it a collector's item, it happened on August 21st and you were there. On Monday, The Buffalo Museum of Science will open their newest exhibit, a new science studio called :Buffalo In Space." That day the museum will offer reduced admission $5 for individuals and $10 for a family. More information about the Solar Eclipse viewing party can be found at the museum's website.
