Three people charged with trying to use a drone to smuggle contraband into state prison

Police arrested three people suspected of using a drone to smuggle a cell phone and drugs into a state prison in Ionia County Thursday morning. Corrections officers at the Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility heard the drone in the prison yard around 4AM.
