The conflicts in Pakistan are mainly due to ethnic and sectarian differences. There are five ethnic movements that have hit Pakistan in four provinces. The movements include Pakhtun movement in NWFP (Present KPK), Bengali Movement in East Bengal (Present Bangladesh), Baloch movement in Baluchistan and two movements named as Sindhis and Mohajirs in Sindh. These movements are known as nationalist movements. The country has also faced two sectarian movements that are Anti-Ahmadyia agitation and Shia-Sunni Strife having their roots in Punjab.
