The tension in the Ukraine-Russia war has reached its peak recently. The Ukrainian Army started to organise almost daily attacks on the Russian-occupied Crimea region. Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Russian-appointed "governor" of Sevastopol, announced that a missile attack was organised on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in the occupied Sevastopol in the afternoon.
Razvozhayev shared the details of the incident as follows: "The enemy launched a missile attack on the fleet headquarters in the occupied Sevastopol." Following this attack, a piece of shrapnel reportedly fell near the Lunacharsky Theatre in Sevastopol. All operational services were quickly dispatched to the scene. "Information about the victims is being clarified," the governor said.
In addition, Razvozhayev asked local residents to remain calm and not to post photos or videos of the incident. It was reported that the impact of the missile attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the occupiers was great and a large number of ambulances were on their way to the scene.
Later, Razvozhayev stated that the entrance to the city centre was blocked and said: "Roads have been closed, a number of special measures are being taken".
Prior to this incident, three powerful explosions were reported in occupied Sevastopol, shaking windows. On the same day, air defence systems in the Saki and Bakhchisaray regions of Crimea reportedly responded to the attacks. In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that an attack with guided missiles and aircraft-type drones was carried out in the occupied Crimea in the morning and that Russian forces destroyed one missile and two drones.
