Never have I had a night where I've shot 9 feral cats, but I have now, and it's all on video as my BEST feral cat hunt. This shooting trip we are out hunting invasive species - feral pigs, feral cats and the odd fox. Access into this area is with my mates Polaris XP1000 side by side buggy. My 308Win rifle is a full custom, which I will review soon to share all the details properly. Action is a Defiance Machine Tenacity, Triggertech Special trigger, 18 inch Carbon Six Barrel, Wedgetail Industries Suppressor, all in an MDT HTN26 Carbon Fibre Chassis. I'm running Fiocchi ammunition with 150 grain Hornady SST projectiles and a sprinkling of subsonic rounds, which are reloads using 190 Sub-X projectiles. My thermal scope is a Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XG50 and for the scanner I'm a Pulsar Merger LRF XL50 which is 1024x756 resolution !!! Daylight scope, I'm using a Japanese made Zerotech Trace Advanced 4-24x50mm.
