Season 2 Episode 2: The Inerrancy of the Bible: It Stands Every Test, and Verifies Itself

The Bible withstands every test of History, Prophecy, Science, and textual integrity because thousands ancient manuscripts remain for translation verification—thousands more than any other book or work of antiquity.

HEBREW Scribes ensured that the Old Testament meets the highest copying standards.

Remarkably, the New Testament Manuscripts date back to the first century written by actual witnesses within 40 years of events.

No other ancient text, secular or faith based, has so much evidence to establish its reliability and continuity. We can trust the integrity of the Biblical text when we apply to it the same criteria as we do to any other historical document or record of events that we did not witness. We can trust Jesus’ words like we trust all other historical records because external evidence verifies the continuity of transmission over the centuries as a direct line from those eyewitness testimonies written by Jesus's contemporaries.

And no other text even attempts such detailed prophecies--NONE MORE REMARKABLE than the 2,500 year old prophecy that God would scatter the Jewish people, but then BRING THEM BACK to their HOMELAND of ISRAEL--2,000 years LATER (Isaiah 11:11. EZ 38:8, [many more], and all of Jesus's prophecies about last days).

Moreover, the Bible verifies itself, with numerous prophets cross referenced in other books of the Bible written at different times.

And Jesus HIMSELF validates the most troublesome Biblical accounts.

Much more evidence verifies that there is without exception, no truer record than the Bible. No other ancient text has been so scrutinized, and no other ancient text meets the least of these requirements.

And so, there is no factual rationale NOT TO TRUST the Bible.
EVERY method of verification validates its trustworthiness BEYOND ANY STANDARD THAT ANY OTHER WRITTEN TEXT COULD MEET.
And so, if the Bible has NO VALID CRITERIA by which we can REJECT IT.

WE MUST TRUST IT, STUDY IT, and DEFEND IT.
