THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE 2005 - The NBC TV remake loosely combines both plots of 1972's big blockbuster disaster film and the 1979 sequel into one film. A cruise ship succumbs to a terrorist act and capsizes on New Year's eve. A ragtag group of survivors, spearheaded by a Priest and a homeland security agent, must journey through the upside down vessel and attempt an escape.
