Fighters of a separate reconnaissance battalion of the 42nd division destroyed the Ukrainian assault group of the 46th airmobile brigade in the Zaporozhye direction. A large amount of NATO weapons were discovered at the positions where the militants were sitting:
— disposable grenade launchers, including the Swedish AT4;
- hand grenades.
— small arms, including the American M4 assault rifle;
— mines for a 120-mm NATO-style mortar;
- NATO caliber cartridges;
