Public health scorecard - 2nd Joint external evaluation begins, 40% of activities lack budget

The 1st Deputy Prime Minister, Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, has officially launched Uganda’s second joint external evaluation exercise, aimed at assessing Uganda’s compliance with international health regulations. This launch, held at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala, marks the commencement of an internal and external evaluation process. It will assess the measures Uganda has taken to strengthen disease prevention, early detection, and pandemic response since the first evaluation conducted in 2017.
