Gilbert Salem is a terrible driver in Ohio. This is the video of him driving on the median, trying to pass me. Obviously he does not know what assuring clear distance means either. Debbie quit nationwide (wonder why). I unfortunately had the displeasure of dealing with brittany anderson claims "Bimbo". First thing she did was threaten me, and to make me pay for 100% of the damages. Then she said she was going to put it through as 20/80 my fault. I talked to her supervisor and informed them that brittany did not even get the police report yet! I had to send it to them. After 4 more calls and time out of my days, wasted. She then told me she was going to put it through as 50/50. Interesting, that it would change at all, after seeing the police report and dashcam video and being talked to by the supervisor. 3 months later! After a so-called arbitration they sent me a letter telling me they would NOT be fighting for me and that I can kiss my 500$ deductible good bye. This happened back in July. That's how long they dragged their feet on this claim. I also want to make note we have had this policy for 15 years, and had a spotless report, prior to this. That was two vehicles and house insurance on the policy. Then I called my local branch to let them know they are getting dropped harder than sloth from the goonies. She wanted to try and help but called back the next day (wifes number though, and yes I gave her mine, including email). She informs me that I am getting 361$ back from the condo on timmons woods. I said well I hope not, that's not even my policy, as I own a house and have never owned a condo. Why is that "attached" to my account? More issues it seems with the company, all policy holders should probably be aware of. I called progressive and sent them this dashcam video. They told me since it was not a multicar accident, and had very clear dashcam video, it is their policy to have it settled in 30 days. Everyone else I have showed this video to is floored by how nationwide didn't put any effort in to getting our money back. I have family and friends in the business, and law enforcement, who quote law and explain how it was 100% Salem Gilbert's fault.
