Last trip we traveled from Ohio to Conyers, Georgia for the #AlwaysandForever Con event celebrating the 10 year anniversary of #theoriginals , #legacies and the #tvd universe. This time we traveled a much closer 2 hours back into the Emerald Forest and where the origins of the channel first began to catch up with the whitetail deer in HBs woods.

While I do plan to visit the Emerald Forest area throughout the fall and during the rebuild of our old base camp on livestream this trip back to the old stomping grounds (while enjoyable) also brought to mind that I really don't miss making the outdoors based content at all. There's only so much you can do with a wilderness backdrop before your story just becomes repetitive. This trip really felt like a repeat of things I've done a million times over.

Still, the does in the herd were cooperative this trip while the bucks tended to be a little more temperamental. I did not catch up with the legend himself or the large buck that's been running with him but I was short on time this trip. I have more trips to the area planned in the near future.
