For some, someone has come alongside you, saying they stand with you. However, when you truly need them to stand with you in the fighting, they shrink back. They claim you need to stand on your own. If this word is for you, you already have been standing on your own. Therefore, it's not the truth at all. Instead, it stems from their own insecurity. And it's not about them. First off, forgive them. Also, don't allow the enemy to kick you down on this. The Lord won't allow it forever. If it continues, He will send someone else willing, even if it means giving up their own life for a little while. The Lord sees that you have been standing on your own the entire time. You've had no choice. They just don't see it.
