Although the U.S. has imposed sanctions on North Korea for its nuclear program, Russia for its war with Ukraine, and Venezuela for its dictatorship, none of these sanctions will work because these countries are forming an alliance that will support China's ambitions to internationalize the RMB and replace the dollar as the dominant currency.
