WAR OF THE WORLDS 2005 - An alien invasion threatens the future of humanity. The catastrophic nightmare is depicted through the eyes of one American family fighting for survival. Steven Spielberg used all of the assets of SKG Dreamworks to create his modernized version of the famous HG Wells Novel. It's a great looking film, sometimes very scary and also sometimes maudlin in that common Spielberg style.
