Practice Makes Perfect #shorts

I wrote this song "We Never Learn" back in April, inspired by my drummer Danny breaking his leg while skateboarding. As I was revisiting it, I realized how difficult the main riff really is. I also realized that I did not record it in correct meter - the original was recorded in 3/4, but after some more practice I found out that it fits much better into 4/4 with triplet feel.
In this video I am practicing the main riff, while making numerous errors.

One thing you've gotta realize is that even after 20 years of practice, you will continue struggling sometimes. Some of your favorite songs by your favorite artists sounded awful when they just came up with the idea.

Never allow frustration get in the way of creativity - just keep at it, and it will get better.
