On this date exactly 40 years ago today, The Nashville Network (TNN) was launched! Here's Ray Stevens performing a musical medley which includes "Piece Of Paradise", "Misty", "Everything Is Beautiful", and "Such A Night" live at the TNN launch event in 1983 from the Opryland theme park. The performance is introduced by Roy Acuff and Patti Page. Ralph Emery also makes an appearance before "Such A Night".
