Since the waters came from the skies, the waters contain information and materials from other realms, that can burn and clean up life but at the same time have enough bio-materials in them that after reacting with the land and materials on the planet can also be fertile, resulting in when the waters finally disperse, it can then rejuvenate earth and let the life flourish again.

When the dor Haflaga people got to know about the powers of the people before the flood, and their remains and their elements interacted with the powers of the heavenly waters, they decided to look for the elements, as the elements form the heavenly waters, from the earthly waters, and from the remains/and other elements that people of the flood brought from the other worlds before, was found in wadi - e- shinar.

They were looking for that and they found the elements and their compounds that the valley contained, as the waters from multiple dimensions interacted with the bio-life of this planet, and unlike other barren planets, the waters didn't destroy the planet’s life

The waters had the power to open portals and hence it contained information as to how to recreate the engines using the components from the waters and then go up from the heavens.

The heavenly gates are connected to the decrease of GOD and angels, as the scriptures say
