So many different fun ways to cook dumplings. Here are 3 of my go-tos. The pan-seared is my absolute favorite. Serve it individually as an appetizer or make a dumplings platter for all to share. For directions on how to fill them, watch my previous reel.

Steaming:
1. Fill a pot or wok with water, ensuring the water level is below the steamer. Bring the water to a boil.
2. Use cabbage leaves or parchment paper with small holes to prevent dumplings from sticking.
3. Place the dumplings in the steamer, ensuring they aren’t touching each other.
4. Once the water is boiling, place the steamer on top. Cover and steam for about 10-15 minutes or until dumplings are cooked through.
5. Remove from steamer and serve immediately.

Pan Frying:
1.Place a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a couple of tablespoons of oil.
2. Once the oil is hot, place dumplings in the pan flat-side down. Cook until the bottoms become golden brown.
**Safety Precaution:** Before adding water, be aware that it can cause the hot oil to splatter. Turn off the fire first, ensure no kids are around, and hold the lid over the pot as a shield when adding water.
3. Pour in about half a cup of water or enough to cover the bottom third of the dumplings. Cover the pan.
4. Allow the dumplings to steam until the water evaporates and the bottoms are crispy.
5. Remove from pan and serve immediately, crispy side up.

3. Deep Frying:
1. Fill a deep frying pan or pot with enough oil to submerge the dumplings. Heat to 375°F (190°C).
2. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the dumplings, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
3. Fry until the dumplings are golden brown and crispy, usually 3-5 minutes.
4. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
5. Serve while hot and crispy.
