The Amazon River is home to some unique fish! There are the toothy predators such as the piranhas and vampire tetras aka payara! Then there are monster fish such as the arapamia and red tail catfish. One fish known as the Tambaqui is a vegan fish known for eating nuts and fruits that fall into the water below from the fruit and nut trees above.
