Surat Al-Fil is a short surah of the Quran that tells the story of how ALLAH protected the Ka'bah from an attack by an army of elephants led by Abraha. The surah is named after the elephant (fil in Arabic) that was used in the attack.

The surah begins by asking the reader if they have seen how ALLAH dealt with the people of the elephant. It then goes on to describe how ALLAH sent flocks of birds against the army, pelting them with stones of baked clay. The stones destroyed the army's armor and weapons, and the soldiers were all killed.

The surah ends by reflecting on the miracle of ALLAH's protection of the Ka'bah. It reminds us that ALLAH is all-powerful and that He is always there to protect His believers.
