Classmates: James Fields was a Nazi sympathizer, even in school

Classmates and adults in the life of James Alex Fields Jr. said they found his high school proclamations of Nazi sympathies "disturbing," but believed he would grow out of them. According to murder charges filed against him this weekend, he didn't: He continued to identify with hateful white supremacist groups into adulthood and killed a protester, Heather Heyer, by ramming her with his car at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
