NEW Water Level Predictions & Saudi Alfalfa Farms | Lake Mead UPDATE May 2023 #2023 #water #update

*Welcome back Colorado River Watchers!* In this update we’ll find out where the record snowpack peaked for the 2023 water year and how much of that is feeding the Colorado. We’ll dive into our new segment *“The Basin Bin”* and take a look at several stories affecting the water supply around the basin states. Included in the BIN this episode are stories of a foreign owned alfalfa farm in AZ, the Tucson water supply, Nevada politicians considering a water shutoff law, and California farmers who are poised to defend their water usage and rights. At the end, find out what the USBR has planned in the meantime for the Glen Canyon Dam upstream!
