Ubben Lecture Series History (Updated in December 2019)

DePauw University in Indiana has hosted Margaret Thatcher, Malala Yousafzai, Mikhail Gorbachev, Benazir Bhutto, Tony Blair, Elie Wiesel, Bill Clinton and almost 120 other speakers since the lecture series was founded in 1986. A fund endowed by 1958 graduates Tim and Sharon Ubben pays for all of the events, which are presented free of charge and are open to the public.This video, narrated by Ken Owen '82, was created in 2008 and updated in 2019.
