Is there a single dish that cannot be upgraded with some freshly baked flatbreads? These pitas are pillowy soft and super easy to make at home 🫶🏼

RECIPE
- 300 g all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)
- 2 tsp (6 g) salt
- 1 tbsp (12 g) sugar
- 1.5 tsp (6 g) instant yeast
- 200 ml warm water

❶ Mix all ingredients in a bowl until no dry spots remain. Rest for 15 minutes, then knead for a couple of minutes.
❷ Place in a bowl, cover and let it rise for about 1-2 hours at room temperature until doubled in size or let it ferment in the fridge for 12-24 hours.
❸ In the meantime preheat a baking tray, cast-iron pan or pizza stone/steel to 250°C.
❹ Deflate the dough, cut into 4-8 pieces, then shape each piece into a ball. Cover with a kitchen towel and let them proof for 15-30 more minutes.
❺ Roll out each ball into a disc, place on the preheated baking tray/iron pan/pizza stone and bake for 1-2 minutes until puffed, then flip and bake until golden brown.
❻ Wrap in a damp kitchen towel so the bread remains soft and doesn’t dry out.
❼ Use for wraps, pita pockets or anything you could eat with some freshly baked flatbread!
