My friends and I travel to stay overnight in the most haunted resort in the Philippines! In the heart of Baguio City, known as the “Summer Capital” of the Philippines, stands the historic Teachers' Camp. Founded in 1908 by the American colonial administration, this originally served as a sanctuary for Filipino teachers seeking rest and professional growth. While its roots are deeply entrenched in education and its colonial-era architecture, the camp is equally famed for its chilling supernatural tales, drawing both history buffs and paranormal enthusiasts.
The camp's legacy is intertwined with the stories of the land it occupies. Before its establishment, the site was inhabited by the Igorots, the native mountain-dwelling people of the Philippines. Legends speak of ancient battles fought on this ground, fueling speculations that these tumultuous events might be linked to the eerie hauntings of the camp. From the mysterious lady in white wandering the camp's grounds to the disturbing sightings of a headless priest, the camp is no stranger to tales of ghostly apparitions.
The Love Sick Igorot stands out among the spirits said to roam the Teachers' Camp. Renowned for his obsession with young female visitors, this spirit's reputation for following them and eerily observing them as they sleep is particularly unsettling. Another terrifying presence is a blood-soaked woman who appears at 3 am, her origin and story remain a profound mystery, yet her haunting image is ingrained in the minds of many who've encountered her. numerous reports detail other supernatural occurrences: phantom cries in the night, unexplained voices, incidents of possession, poltergeist disturbances, and even cases of sleepwalking.
The aura surrounding Teachers' Camp is undeniable, with many acknowledging the eeriness that descends after sunset. Skeptics may dismiss these supernatural tales as folklore or overblown tales, yet the camp remains an unparalleled fusion of historical significance and mystical allure.
