Al-Waqi'a is the 56th surah of the Quran. it was revealed in Mecca, specifically around 7 years before the Hegira, the migration of Muhammad (pbuh) to Medina. The total number of verses in this surah are 96. It mainly discusses the afterlife , and the different fates people will face in it.

Protection against Poverty
Surah Waqiah protects against poverty as our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH said that no person in Ummah should taste poverty if he recites this Surah every night. This Surah does not take more than 5 minutes to recite the rewards yet are so big SubhanAllah!
Every Surah in the Qur’an has many healing benefits. Our Prophet (SAW), said in a hadith, “Whoever recites Surah Waqiah at night will never encounter poverty”.
Another hadith from our Prophet (SAW) says, “Surah Waqiah is the Surah of Wealth, so recite it and teach it to your children” (Ibn Asakir)
Abdullah Ibn Masood (rz) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever recites Surah al-Waqiah every night, he will never be afflicted by poverty. And Ibn Masood (rz) used to order his daughters to read it every night.” (Shu’ab al-Iman 4/120, number 2269).
