Ukraine is making another bold move against the Russian occupied territories! According to the latest developments, the Ukrainian Armed Forces dealt a major blow to the Russian occupiers near the city of Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
This surprise attack, which started in the early hours, took place when the invaders did not expect it. Ukrainian forces stunned Russian personnel near the occupied city of Melitopol with an effective blow.
A statement released by the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reads as follows: "At about 07:00 the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a successful attack on the occupiers’ staff near the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol."
Earlier, Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov said that people in the area heard 5 powerful explosions. The most violent of these explosions was heard near the Autocolorlyt factory. Authorities of the Russian Federation claimed that the air defense systems responded to this incident.
In addition, the Russian military deployed several groups of attack aircraft to Ukraine last night from different directions. Airstrike warnings were issued in the north, east and south of the country, as well as in the city of Kiev. Later, at around 05:00, it was reported that everything was fine in all regions.
