I used this hive to experiment with this spring. It had two colonies in it, there is a separator in the center. I want to be able to transition langstroth and top bar hives into layens. It was successful so this hive was empty and I needed to custom build replacement bars. I got that done on Monday, power waged it out, put it in my nursery apiary and well…… it has tenants.
