Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. You won't believe what we almost caught our ver first time!

Although we are locals in Southwest Florida, the truth is we have never went fishing here before. We were also surprised to find out that Captain Casey barely ever, if ever, get locals on his boat cruises so I guess it's normal not to vacation in your backyard.

Being our first time fishing in the area, especially after what Hurricane Ian did to many of the barrier islands here, was very exciting for us and let me tell you that the entire trip not only met but exceeded our expectations.

We were a bit hesitant because of the kids, especially our oldest who has autism and the baby who is, well, a baby lol but the entire trip was pretty smooth and we were so happy to almost have caught a really nice catch.
