Sunak’s attacks on Doctor's strike is doomed to failure.

History making doctor's strikes are happening across the country and the best Sunak & Co can do is threaten them with the sack!
Right, so today is history making stuff and not in a particularly good way as consultants and junior doctors have co-ordinated strike action in response to the state the NHS has been left in, together with full pay restoration, terms and conditions that have been trampled, with a government instead of meeting them halfway, that has spent more money fighting them, than restoring pay and funding, therefore proving the money was there and it was political choice not to provide it, they’re now going to challenge their right to strike and in fact force them to work against their will whether they’re on strike or not. It’s like someone took a bucketful of dumbass tipped it out and formed a government out of what slopped out. Not a braincell in sight, you cannot force people to work against their will, that’s a human rights violation, that’s a workers rights violation, you’re talking about forced labour, which is slavery if you think about it. You cannot make these people work. You can’t make any of them work. What are you going to do send the police in to hold doctors at gunpoint if they don’t operate? It’s idiocy. Well no of course not Damo, that’ll be mad, they’ll just sack them instead! Oh will they! Where will the replacement doctors come from then? We have massive staffing shortages now, threats of sackings are insane, we’ll end up with an even bigger backlog of patients than we already have. Well, when you lie as professionally as the Tories do, you know they’ll have an answer for this and the berk in charge of health still, the eternally tiresome and talentless Steve Barclay has been blaming, you guessed it, the trade unions, specifically the British Medical Association. He’s been going around claiming that locally agreed derogations, exemptions to the strike action that had been agreed, were shut down by the BMA, that they’re militant and are determined to threaten patient safety. Honestly if you’re still believing a word the Tories say on the NHS these days, I honestly despair, because nobody should ever, ever, trust the Tories with our health service. It gets said every election and yet for 13 years people have still picked them to put into power so if you vote Tory and can’t get an appointment, you really only have yourself to blame. What will make that worse come the next election is with Labour’s leaders bought and paid for by private health interests, you can’t trust them with the NHS either. Anyway, needless to say really, but I’m sure you’d appreciate a good debunking, Barclay was lying his weaselly black guts out. The BMA had to write to Barclay demanding he retract his false statements and patiently explained to him that any derogation requests at to be agreed between themselves and NHS England, they cannot be unilaterally imposed by either organisation on their own, nor can they be made locally, which is another claim Barclay has made.Show more
