DEADPOOL 3 Trailer #3 2024 Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman Wolverine Returns MCU Deadpool Fan Made

While Deadpool 3 is going to be R-rated, it still begs the question of how the movie will still work through the MCU lens. With the movie still filming, Deadpool 3 is facing one restriction that the past movies didn't have, as Reynolds isn't allowed to do any improv. Because of the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike, Reynolds has to stick to the script that was written prior to the strike by him, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, and director Shawn Levy.

Whether that will be a problem for Reynolds as a performer remains to be seen, as he will likely be asked about it in interviews when they start promoting Deadpool 3. In general, it doesn't seem like Kevin Feige has any plans to make significant changes to the Deadpool 3 character simply because he will be under the MCU umbrella. Knowing what made the Deadpool movies successful, it would be a big risk for Feige to mess with a recipe that has already proven to work.
