19 games bowled become a better Straight/Hook ball bowler #195 with the Brooklyn Crusher 9-17-23

bowled 19 games in 2 hours with a 166 avg. since the brand of tape I was using kept coming off every 2 to 3rd game ( this is the only reason I did not bowl 20 games) I decided to bowl thumb-less. bowling thumb-less puts automatic HOOK on the ball so it increases my scores. I did NOT want to need to put hook on the ball because then you need to play the oil!!!
it seems to me I am fighting an uphill battle trying to bowl straight ball for my strike ball. so I decided to go with the flow for a while & see if I can get a 200 avg or better?? all the other years of my bowling I could never get my avg above a 190 with a 686 as a high series on league bowling with a hook ball. that is why I decided to use the str8 ball instead & I could never get to a 190 avg. I'm a 170 or so avg with a str8 ball strike ball.
I guess the reason ALL pro-bowlers use the hook is for the right angle most of the time & the fact you have a 4 times greater chance of striking using a hook ball over the straightest str8 ball. it because when using the hook ball the ball doesn't start hooking until end of oil that is 35 to 40 feet out from the foul line & that's 20 to 25 feet from the head pin when your ball hooks in that is about a 6 degree angle or the best angle that you can get where as the str8 ball can only get a 1.5 degree entry angle: THAT IS WHY ALL PRO-BOWLERS THROW a HOOK BALL & NOT a STR* ball.
