"Mastering the Art of Homemade Mayonnaise: Your Ultimate Step-by-Step Guide!"
Here’s a basic smooth mayonnaise recipe with Dijon you can make at home. This will make you about 1 cup of mayonnaise. You can easily omit the mustard too. Am I right to say there’s nothing like fries and mayonnaise or is there something better that pairs with it 👇🏾
Ingredients:
1 large egg
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Salt to season
1 cup canola oil
Squeeze of lemon juice
Just a few tips to remember 👇🏾
👉🏽Make sure the egg is at room temperature
👉🏽Add egg to food processor or hand mix and process for 20 seconds. Add the mustard, vinegar and salt and process for another 20 seconds.
👉🏽Add the oil slowly in tiny drop until the mixture begins to thicken. Once you’ve added half the oil you can add slightly larger amounts at a time but still add it in a thin drizzle 👌
👉🏽 adjust salt if necessary
