DIY Beautiful Box Paper Mache | Tree bark imitation idea

In this video I will show you simple idea from paper mache with my own hands. In this diy I will craft and decorate with using polymer clay, paper napkins and a glue gun.

For the basis of the future box I used an old box.
I sealed the lid and cut the box into two parts.
Paper napkins mixed with glue and added spackling paste.
This mass was applied to the box.
If you use a regular corrugated cardboard, it is better to cover with varnish or glue and allow to dry.
After that, you can apply papier-mâché.
I applied a papier-mâché paste and held uneven stripes with a wooden stick in a chaotic manner, imitating the bark of a tree.
Dried a little with a hairdryer.
With a lock and loops pushed recesses for fastening.
Allowed to dry completely.
Glued lock and loop.
Painted with black acrylic paint.
Let dry.
After that, using a dry brush applied brown paint.
The next layer was applied a tone lighter, several times.
In some places pasted moss.
Blinded polymer clay flowers.
Baked for 10 minutes at a temperature of 100 degrees.
Then glued to the box.
The finish layer was applied with glossy acrylic varnish.
On the places where the moss was applied varnish by knocking movement.
Let dry.
Inside the box pasted textile.
