Desert Law; gameplay testing, seeing if it'll run; mission 1, basics tutorial; eh, it was 59 cents.

On sale for 59 cents, so maybe it's worth it. Not sure if I'd recommend it per se, yet; the bathwater is a bit high already, and haven't really seen whether the actual battles will be tedious or not so far. It is cheap for now at least however, so there's that.

The comic book style makes me think of the movie Tank Girl (not that I particularly recommend that either, although it's at least better than some other things via the Overton Window of insanity!) Can't say I'm thrilled about the character of the protagonist, but oh well. Could be better, could be worse.

Seems there's only a flashing healthbar glitch that I notice so far, with unit movement, which I suppose is better than the framerate glitch of games like StarCraft 2 & Sol Survivor. The style makes me think of something between Tiberian Sun Firestorm and StarCraft 2. Nice that I can have the graphics detail on max without crashing my computer, for now, also.

Overall, I'm undecided, though it's inexpensive and more the style of Mad Max / Tank Girl than Fallout -- though I do like Fallout 4 best of most post-apocalyptic games I've played so far. I don't want to recommend it for its totality, which is unknown to me and so I honestly can't, but obviously the price is good while the sale lasts at least.
