Tracy Brabin to run for second term as Mayor of West Yorkshire, but do we need Mayors and what has Tracy Brabin done for her reported £200k wage?

One suspects most people in West Yorkshire do not know that West Yorkshire has a Mayor and even fewer know that it is Tracy Brabin.

Indeed all she seems to do is post on Twitter about busses to her few followers and has often no more than 6 replies, showing how little impact she seems to have on people.

Then she posts about the meetings she has that one suspects are no more than photo opportunities that achieve not a great deal.

From my understanding is that she is supposed to represent the public with the police, yet I have not seen her tell us her views or anything about the Leeds situation where a child with a form of disability (it was reported) was arrested because she stated a police lady looked like her lesbian nan.

While it is jolly nice that we provide this lady wit a nice lifestyle on a reported £300k, perhaps we should scrap this job and use the money better. £200k could build a new library each year for instance.

I also wonder if she is responsible for this air zone charge in Bradford, that seems to have resulted in business finding no customers are going into Bradford these days.
