Need For Speed Most Wanted (2012) | NFS at a Crossroads

The most polarizing game in the series (you could say Unbound is right at its heels for that crown), Most Wanted 2012 can be seen as the perfect encapsulation of what some have called the "identity crisis" era of Need for Speed (2009-2013). This game has elements from Most Wanted 05 (police, Most Wanted list), Hot Pursuit 2010 (physics/handling), and Burnout Paradise (map structure, collectibles). This game seems to be viewed more favorably compared to release as the "I don't want NFS to go in this direction" factor fades (we now know where this has gone which has been....interesting). I am one of those people who likes this game, but if a game like this were to be made again, it should not be under the NFS banner.
