If you have $5 you can help make a difference in someone's life and have lunch, the 6th annual Michigan Education Trust pizza party happens today on the state Capitol lawn. For a minimum donation of $5 you can get a slice of pizza, pop and ice cream. All the money raised goes towards helping foster kids go to college. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers are asking anyone who plans on going to pre-register on www.fosteringfuturesmi.com.
