Making Strides ready to kick off

Don't be surprised if one of your friends or coworkers asks you to join their team in the fight against breast cancer. The American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer held a kick-off breakfast Wednesday morning in East Lansing. The event is all about generating excitement and organizing teams for a fundraising walk at the state Capitol on October 14. Making strides is a celebration of survivors and to remember those who were lost to breast cancer. The money raised goes to local programs and services for patients.
